Essentials allows you to set a timer for teleports but it doesn't let you customise it per rank, are there any out there?
How can I reduce lag on my server
I tried adding more ram (4gb) and it still lags, distance definetly aint an issue since my pc running the server is a couple of centimeters away from me

Custom Minecraft Server : Mod or Plugin
Hello, I would like your personal opinions, whether you are a developer, player, sysadmin or staff, concerning a custom minecraft adventure. Are modded servers still attractive? I know some big ones still do but they use a custom launcher etc... I wonder if a simple modpack dropped on CurseForge or elsewhere would be enough to attract players?
I've obviously heard of Mohist, which lets you combine mod + plugins, but I doubt its long-term stability. Again, if anyone has any experience to share with me about Mohist, I'd be curious.
About plugins, I've seen that modded creatures are feasible, but how far? Can it match bosses we're more used to seeing in big Mods? ...

Hello, I am aware of a way to disable player collision in paper.ylm config but my server has only spigot.ylm file which has no such setting. What are my alternatives to disable player collision? Thanks.

I am testing a server with my accs one has op (permission) one has default (none) in the account that have none perms when i type / in the chat he will see all the enable commands but they can see all the commands that have no perms
NoChatReport compatability issues (invis msg in console)
Whenever I speak in the chat of the server, the console shows as [INFO]: [Not Secure]
I am not sure how to fix it. If you tell me to make the server online (premium only), I can't, I am not the owner, I just have console access. The server is on whitelist, so no players are on, just me....

How to distinguish between shared and dedicated Resources?

I run a Minecraft Server on Heavynode atm and am trying to decide if I should switch from MC Hosting to VPS.
The most difficult question to answer is if I need dedicated vs. shared resources.
Reddit and other Sources state that dedicated resources are best for CPU and RAM intense things like gameservers but I cant find out if I'm currently running on dedicated or shared resources. (The machine is obviously shared but I dont know about ram/vcpus.

Temporary blocking joins on server restart
Hey, i'm currently running an anarchy server that is starting to get a large map. Because of this, the server takes a while to settle after server start, as it has to load a high amount of files. So, i am looking for a plugin that will temporarily block people joining when the server starts (for a minute or so), allowing the server to calm down. Any help appreciated.

What is different between NoChatReports (Server side) and FreedomChat? Is my understanding correct?
From my understanding, through googling and perusing different forums, it seems that NCR (server side) and FC both serve the same purpose in mitigating chat reporting. The latter is a server side Forge/Fabric mod (meaning clients don't need it installed) while the former is a plugin for spigot/paper. My confusion comes from trying to understand how one is advantageous over the other. Is this mainly a matter of what you're choosing to run your server on?
I think I read one comment about having both installed. Does this add any additional advantages? It seems overkill to me.
For context, I just want to run a private server amongst some friends. While I don't think any of us would say anything to warrant being banned, I still want to disable chat reporting out of principle alone. If I bought the game. and am taking on the brunt of the cost in hosting a server, I should be able to dictate what is allowed on that server after all....
