Discord SRV bot on multiple Minecraft servers?

Is it possible to have one Discord SRV bot for multiple Minecraft servers so there wont be need to make a bot for each server? If yes how? Do I just use the same token on all the servers?

Waterfall Magma cannot connect

Hi, im using a Waterfall Proxy to connect Magma Servers. After adding one Mod i cannot connect anymore, it says the server requires forge to be installed on the client. i do have forge installed. Console says its a vanilla connection. Forge Support in Waterfall is enabled and without the Mod all is working fine. Any Ideas?...

How to upload "local" server to Oracle VM server?

I've been self-hosting a server for a couple of friends on my desktop, but I've now set up an oracle vm for a server. How can I transfer all the info (world state, settings, player info etc) to the oracle server?

Which Server Jar?

Hi I'm trying to start a private server for a discord server I'm in that I have a few questions. I want the server to be vanilla 1.20.1 with around 15 plugins and some datapacks (vanilla tweaks, arboria, etc..), and it has to cater up to 20 players. I'm leaning towards Sparked Host and their Enterprise Venus option which has 3vcores, 6gb ram, and 100gb nvme storage which is what their reco tool gave me. Now that the context has been laid down, I wanted to ask on what server jar I should use? I read about three which are Paper, Purpur, and Pufferfish, I don't have any experience with the last two but it says they have better vanilla gameplay and performance respectively. I have used Paper in the past and had some trouble specially with Redstone, Entity lag, and Garbage Collection, but that was with an inferior hardware setup. I used Aikar Flags, world pre-loading and had to make my world border 5000blks wide to make my old server even barely playable. If any of you have experience with these server jars please let me know....

How can I disable creeper explosions without disabling other "griefing" events?

Trying to get an oracle server running. SSH doesn't seem to work?

Hi, I'm following this guide: https://blogs.oracle.com/developers/post/how-to-set-up-and-run-a-really-powerful-free-minecraft-server-in-the-cloud I'm at the step of running the VM in the cloud, but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks 🙂...

Self hosting other device cant connect tot the server.

I want to host a minecraft server on my own machine nothing too fancy just some servers that me and my friends can mess around on. I can't get the portforwarding to work. So i used No-IP to get a server address (I have this server IP xxx.0.0.1 and this is the address i got randomserver.ddns.net ). I can easily connect from my main machine that is hosting the server using both ip and the Address but can't connect to the server using any other device. What DDNS services can i use? I tried DuckDns but also couldn't get it to work....

Self Hosted server running out of memory and crashing

Hello, I'm here on behalf of a friend (he's asleep atm) who is hosting a server for our small group (like 2-4 max). How far can I get with these specs?

I'm planning on hosting a Minecraft server for friends & family, and want to completely avoid monthly subscription fees. I saw a thread on reddit that criticizes my "old thinkpad server" approach, but I haven't ran into any glaring bottlenecks in my, albeit limited, testing. Let me know if I'm missing anything obvious, this is my first attempt at running a MC server locally. With these specs I was able to get ~15CPS with Chunky and ~500ms per tile generation on Dynmap. (on Windows)...

Does anyone know how to increase the world height limit in the nether?

When I use the Incendium datapack, the nether roof has been raised to 191, making farms in the nether more difficult to build. Is there a way for me to increase the height limit from 255 to something like 319 or 511?

"Saving Oversized chunks..."

Hello I'm new to hosting a Minecraft server. The server type is : PaperMC/PaperSpigot . I don't understand how to solve this "Saving Oversize Chunk" situation, all I've done was enter the world and teleport 4,000 blocks away from spawn and did /setworldspawn (don't think this is related but just incase). I don't crash or anything, therefore I don't get any crash reports detailing what the problem is.

Wiping player data

i have mvinv and i need to wipe some player inventories, and i have gone and deleted the files inside of multiverse, in the correct group. But, when i try it on myself, the files reappear with everything as if it never happened. what should i do
