Cannot access minecraft server through local network

I have setup a minecraft server in my docker stack using the default docker-compose configuration, but I cannot access the server in game ,after a while it says "unable to connect". Docker container is up/healthy, container logs say say successfully started, no errors

if your trying to connect to a java server on bedrock (on phone using minecraft app through appstore) then you cant

resources to learn how to make a tiny mod/datapack?

i'm wanting to make a small datapack or mod that literally just adds a handful (maybe 5-10) decorative blocks to the game. basic vanilla shapes and all, but new recipes and textures. can someone point me towards a learning resource like, noob modding for dummies? thank you so much...

Issue with server's rapidly growing file size

Season 2 of my SMP server has been going on for just a month now, but it's file size has already grown up to 19GB and doesn't seem to be slowing down. The server members have explored quite a lot of chunks, but I think it was like that already in s1 and it took 2 years for it's world size to reach 30GB. The main difference between the two season is the version 1.19.3 -> 1.21.1 and the modpack I believe. Is this normal? Should I be worried? If this is a problem, what can I do to figure out how to fix it?...

i alr setuped difficulty mode but still it's on easy mode

player pressed "esc" -> "opitons" -> "online". they saw it's on easy mode, but i setuped in portpertis file dificulty:hard, and also in game.

Can someone help me optimize my modpack/server?

I am only kind of tech savy, enough to put together my own modpack and make it run, but not knowledgeable enough to optimize it, or figure out why players keep getting kicked... (goodness, I can't even read crash reports...) 300+ mods, running on Fabric 1.20.1, the server is called CottageQuest Please let me know if you would be willing to take a look at the modpack, and see if you see anything obvious that I am missing. Or any mod alternatives to get better performance, etc....

Looking to buy a VPS!

Hello Admincraft Discord! I’m considering buying a VPS instead of using a Managed Minecraft service. Previously, I’ve used a Hosting Company for a few months, which I won’t name. While their service was decent, their Customer Service Support was not great, and often had to wait several days for a response. Because of this, I’m looking to switch to a VPS. This would give me more freedom and flexibility without relying on slow Customer Service. Although I’m new to managing a VPS, I am quite tech-savvy and interested to learn. With that said, can anyone recommend a great Hosting Provider that offers VPS? I’d prefer something well-established, and a high-quality service that is affordable/reasonably priced! Ideally, I’d like to pay quarterly but I am open to anything if that’s not really available....

Creating Aliases on a Velocity Network?

I run a velocity network for my friends, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to set up aliases for it. I am currently running velocity with 1.21.4. The servers all run on fabric. Basically, right now you would have to type /server creative to go to the creative server. I want to be able to just do /creative and have that take you to the creative server....
