Iris 1.6.5's Dimension Detection Has some issues

The new dimension detection feature seems to work a bit too well, in the regard that old shaderpacks don't work correctly in the three vanilla environments outside of the vanilla dimension ids for them. The shaderpack I used for testing is Complimentary Reimagined v2.2.1

I don't understand what is the difference between the Iris installer and the Iris 1.6.5

Hello, I am new to Iris and minecraft mods in general. I saw in game the message saying that there is a new versino of Iris, but when I downloaded the installer again it was the same one I already have. I am not sure I understand. Is Iris 1.6.5 a shader instead of the program that support shaders ? If that's the case, I do not have an iris Shader on so I don't understand why there is a message telling me to update it ? I am also not sure where I should download the iris 1.6.5 if I have to download it, should it go in the shader folder ? ...

Any way to turn off the new version notifications?

It's really annoying to have this chat message each time I switch worlds and stuff. Wouldn't be much of a big deal, but with the latest version of Sodium nothing renders for me, so I can't exactly update (idk what tag would really fit this, I just went for enhancement because I think thats closest)

How come Sodium and Iris are both locked to 1.20.1?

It's a minor version, and as far as I understand there should be no compatibility issues. Why am I forced to find updates to all my client-side mods just for the newest version of Sodium and Iris?

Crash with new Sodium,Iris

When i load into a world, it just crashed the game

Crash on Launch after installiing new update and the sodium update

The error code is: The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: Mixin transformation of me.jellysquid.mods.sodium.client.render.SodiumWorldRenderer failed...

When rendering a replay using shaders, it'll randomly say joining world, then the screen turns black

Screen remains black even if you join a world, and doesn't go back to normal until you take shaders off or quit Minecraft and open a new game. (the screenshot says i havent updated it, but this has happened before the new release (unless its supposed to get fixed in this update))

When you load into replay mod and join new game while using Iris 1.20.1, the screen shows this:

I tried it with optifine, it's normal. But with Iris, it either makes the screen turn black or like this. Once you leave replay mod, and join a world, the sky still looks like this. Same for when everything goes black. In order to make it normal, you have to close the game and restart.

Strange Java exception in game log, appears to not cause any issues but not entirely sure

Enabling connected textures

I have Continuity and Indium installed, the grass block I am using from the cubed resource pack top png is not loading in properly, instead of a texture the top of the grass block says enable connected textures, any way to fix this? Im unsure how to enable it thought I had thought continuity should have done that for me even at top of textures list.

Weird Issues with Complementary Reimagined on 1.20

I'm having a weird problem with dark patches on snowy grass blocks while using the Complementary Reimagined shaderpack. This issue started after the 1.20 update. Not quite sure whats causing it, but it only shows up when continuity is installed and shaders are enabled.

Can't get Zoomify to work

I have installed zoomify and put it into my mods folder in .minecraft. When I go to look for the settings in game after reloading, nothing is there and when I try to use the zoom nothing happens.

Framerate dips when minecraft is focused, but increases when unfocused

I'm using sodium and iris and my framerate is dipping when I click on minecraft but when I am focused on something else my framerate increases. The displayed framerate is 60, but it looks more like 15 or 10. Is there a known solution for this?

Can't even download iris shaders

Hi, yeah I have tried everything now, and asked my tech friends, but we dont know what to do. So i have downloaded java and everything, and i have tried downloading iris shaders. But it firstly downloaded as an internet explorer file, and then i tried to change what it would open with to java. But it seriously dosnt wanna download.

Rethinking voxels light not working?

I'm using the latest alpha version of rethinking voxels, and the colored lighting (or any lighting at all) isn't working. The blocks themselves glow, but don't emit actual light. The one contradiction for this is when I'm holding a light block such as a lantern, torch, etc. In that case, the space around me gets lit up with the appropriate light color. Is there a setting I'm missing to make light actually work when a block is placed?

Weird block culling(maybe) issue

I was writing a shader and noticed that in certain locations and when looking the right way, certain parts of shadows would disappear. I personally was writing a voxelization shader and ray casting for pixel perfect shadows(not pixel perfect yet, still in dev), and saw the bug. I debugged my code for a while, and had no idea why this was happening. I then tried a few other voxelization shaders, saw the same bug and thought maybe it was just voxelization.
