Smooth shading and iris

a certain mod called "Figura" lets you use minecraft's built in smooth shading ability to render parts as "smooth" but whenever i use any shader it seems to disable it. This may be a shaderpack issue but all the ones ived tried have been the same

Subchunk-Lines "disappear" when using iris (with no shaders enabled)

As it can be seen in the screenshots, when using iris shaders the blue lines indicating subchunks disappear. To reproduce, no shaders have to be enabled, just the mods installed. It shouldn't be a problem of any other mod, since in the screenshots with the blue lines visible, i had all mods besides iris active.

How to use Iris with the Essentials mod?

So me and my friend decided to download the essentials mod to play together but were not quite sure how to install Iris & Sodium with it. when we try to do a Fabric install it creates a new profile.

Cannot install, tried two different .jar files. Is the site down?

I want to install rethinking voxels and loading it in optifine gave me a screen blocking image of "iris is needed for this shader" now I try to install iris and I am on a scavenger hunt how to get this to actually install. It only has this automatic downloader .jar and it seems all the repositories that these try to pull from are offline or something.

Trying to use Iris for Shaders (New to this stuff)

I'm Extremely new to using shaders in general for MC and i was recommended to use Iris for installment, I downloaded the installer from the official website but I'm at a lost on what to do now. I already downloaded the one shader i wanted to and I'm basically asking for some step by step help.

Outlines around blocks not showing

Iris is consuming all my RAM (sorta not really)

After editing, reloading, editing, reloading shaders for a while my graphics driver begins to consume all available ram + swap. It goes away when I close Minecraft however. I haven't tested in a while but I'm pretty sure this doesn't happen on optifine.

Glowing ores

Cant manage to get ores to glow i have an up to date glowing ore recourse pack and the iris for the fabric vertion 1.20.1

Issue with all shader packs

I'm getting a strange message whenever I try to load any shader: Iris encountered an issue trying to load the shader; please report this to Iris developers. Clicking the link (Copy Info) below copies this to my clipboard: Unexpected error while creating framebuffer: Draw buffers [0] Status: 36061 I tried three different shaders: BSL, Complementary, and Rethinking Voxels. All three give me the same message and copy the same info to my clipboard. Activating BSL or Complementary gives me the message and does not load the shader, while Rethinking Voxels actually does load the shader, but gives me the same message and makes my entire computer stutter (although that might just be my graphics card). The only files in my mods folder are Sodium, Indium, Iris, and the Fabric API. Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end?...

Iris version compatible for sodium 0.4.2

RealisticCraft modpack uses sodium 0.4.2 version. Iris versions 1.5, 1.5.2, 1.4.4 does not work. Please suggest which to use so that I can use shaders with the modpack.

Customizable Player Models Glowing Parts not rendering in first person

When I use the newest version of Iris on version 1.19.2 with the Customizable Player Models mod on Fabric, The glowing part of my right hand doesn't glow (only in first person)

I have dark text on my shaders

Welcome, i switch from optifine to iris, and I have dark text on chat and other places, all colors (in servers is color text) is dark, and this happens in every shaders, please help, I reseting shaders and reinstalling, but it's not help

Bsl Water not working, everything else with shader working

Other shaders dont work either, only sues' water works and I dont personally like its look
