JoinBackpack hero fails to launch
Have tried to launch backpack hero using various versions of proton, same result every time, click launch, see a window appear containing black background, stays open for a few seconds then it goes away.

Genshin Impact crashing after pressing "Start Game"

when trying to play genshin, it lets me install however it wont let me actually into the game. after pressing "start game" the screen goes away for a few seconds before crashing. I've tried everything & read the anime games github page. I'm using proton 10, emu isnt checked, and im not getting any wine errors. any idea what to do?...
Monument Valley Freeze after launch
I do posses a copy of Monument Valley thru EpicGames Store.
After installing it thru Heroic Launcher I was able to play to it for a while, but after closing the session and restarting my PC the game a freezed screen (with music still playing) after few second from it is launched

lsfg-vk in Alan Wake 2
Tagging this as non-heroic because technically it's not a Heroic issue (maybe) but since i'm running the game though heroic, it could be.
I'm using Heroic installed as system package, not flatpak.
I have tested lsfg-vk with vkcube and it works. lsfg installed on steam and lsfg-vk pointed to the dll. Correct env variables set in heroic but still no changes :(...
Is there a way to change the OS specific version of a game in Heroic?
Hi, I installed Silksong in its Windows version cause the Linux native gave me controller issues. I saw that they released a public-beta channel and I would like to see if that fixes the issue. So the question is, is there a way to change the OS specific version? For example, in steam you just have to turn off the complatibility layer and it automatically selects the native version for you.

[macOS] Hogwarts Legacy missing visual C++ runtime
Trying to run Hogwarts Legacy on macOS via Heroic with Wine set to GPTK Latest. I installed vcrun2022 in Winetricks but still get a missing Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error. Do I need to run vc_redist.x64.exe manually in the prefix?
RL not launching on my M2 macbook air.
Just downloaded rocket league. Trying to open it but it's just not opening. The green words saying "launching" show for a split second then disapear and nothing happens.
Steam is not detecting running games from Heroic
When launching a GOG game that was added to Steam, then the "game startig" screen shows for a few seconds, and then the screen returns to the game page. The play button is green, i.e. Steam thinks that the game isn't running, but the game eventually starts.
The problem is that both the game and Steam receive controller input at the same time.
So far tested it with Silksong (Linux and Windows versions), and Alters....

This game doesn't appear to be installable (Apple Silicon) on Gog.com
I've seen this issue on github around 2023/2024 but seemed to be solved since, however I'm getting this error and I don't know how to solve it. I'm trying to install Splinter cell on my Mac m1 on gog.com and it doesn't take any download info as well, not the size of the download neither of the installation.
Other games from Gog works well.

Trying to add a game which is a x executable
I'm new to Linux and is trying to add game from itch.io to Heroic Game Launcher, but some game are application/x-executable that don't posses any extension and are not seen in the browser even when we use the all file type option. I've tried adding them directly by typing the location, create a launcher and using it to launch the game with heroic and I already looked if someone else post the problem but none of it worked. also, I tested both the game and the launcher to see if they work and they does.

[Steam Deck] Silksong running on Desktop Mode but not Steam Mode

I'm currently facing an issue while trying to run Silksong (Windows build) with Heroic.
When running it on Desktop Mode, it just works fine. While doing so in Game Mode, it just crashes immediately (I can barely see the game cursor appearing then it just stops)

Fall guys "no exchange code found" on NixOS

I'm trying to play fallguys using heroic launcher on my NixOS pc but I'm facing some difficulties.
When I launch fall guys, the game start normally but then I have a fall guys message
"Error related to epic games account; No exchange code found."

Silksong RT seems to not function well
Hi,
I am playing Silksong (the GOG version) through Heroic launcher.
The Sprint function (RT on controller) Seems to toggle instead of just using "hold" to trigger. On KB the function does not work at all. no matter the keybinding.
I tried to just run GOG galaxy just on linux but wine did not want to work with it....
Solution:
Afterwards click install again but before proceeding change build from Linux to Windows

Apparently the error about missing
System.Management.Automation means it needs PowerShell, which is part of Windows Management Framework, and is distributed only as a .msu. Is it even possible to make this work under Wine/Proton?The Last of Us crashing on startup

I'm using NixOS, game was fine to play until i switched from KDE Plasma to Hyprland. Probably something with that that's causing issues, but I'm clearly not good enough to figure it out on my own.
