add games to steam doesnt seem to work on Windows

Whenever i try to add into it,it doesnt seem to work anymore but it used to work out on windows Both paths seems to be working out...

Solution:

Tl:DR of this thread in order for automatically adding to steam to work out,while that setting is checked ofc Install the game from gog/epic games/amazon...

Can't launch VA-11 Hall-A from GOG

Problem with starting games

how can i use steam-style launch options?

i want to use this launch option for borderlands 2: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw=n,b" %command%, but The %command% syntax from Steam is not valid as game arguments. i do have steam installed if i can somehow launch an epic store game from there. what can i do? it looks like an env variable but env variable usually have a file path

I am unable to run any games through Heroic Launcher version 2.9.0

I just got a steam deck and I have installed Heroic Games Launcher, however whenever I try to install and play a game through the launchers, it doesn't load. As an example, I am trying to install Cristales, and I am using Wine-GE-Latest. After installation, I exit and enter the game page and I get the following: ```An error has occurred! GOG Sign in not working as intended
