broken switch interface

Hey I was installing the premium aluminum case but the switch interface for one of the sides broke how can I get a replacement?

Are these the right batteries for a corne build?

Hey! first post here... hopefully a pretty simple question before I put my order in. I'm in Germany so can't buy the batteries. Following the links on the side to AliExpress I ordered these model. I think it's the problem model but the web says something about a black connector (which I selected) but the delivered item has these white ones. The length of the cable seems to be the shorter one that works with the custom keyboards so I think it's still all good and just a different color? Not sure if the connectors are different other than just the color. Thanks!....

ZMK Studio is picking up my keyboard but not my keymap??

I dont remember overriding any of my keyboard settings, and the keyboard typing is working

Lag when typing

I am having lag on both sides when typing. This is my second Typeractive Corne, so I flashed the same firmware as my first board that works fine. My setup is the same with both boards, like same distance from computer, same mouse, etc. The only difference is the first board is soldered, the second board is no solder. The board works, it's just lags to the point where I'm mistyping and changing BT profiles because my fingers are moving and the board is lagging behind. I have tried: 1. Clearing BT 2. Reflashing stock firmware...

nice!nano BT connected but no keys are working

Hey guys, I’m in need of some troubleshooting please. I bought the parts and assembled a corne choc v2 with nice!nano wireless. I have soldered all diodes (right orientation), soldered the switches, PCB joins and the controller. Soldered the reset button but no OLED, leds or anything else. I managed to flash the firmware using ZMK’s default and even connected through BT to my MacOS but no keys is registered....

UPS rates to Canada much cheaper right now than yesterday?

Shipping to Canada using UPS Worldwide Saver currently shows $27 to Canada, whereas my order from yesterday I paid $108. TA14789 Understanding you do not control the shipping costs, is this typical? I was hoping to get this slick Corne this week. Side note, the 3D models are slick.

Unable to reset the board

Hi! I just finished building my first Corne today, and I'm having flashing issues. I followed the steps in Joe's helpful walkthrough video: connected the left board to my laptop, dragged the left .u2f file onto it, disconnected, and did the same for the right-hand side. But something went wrong somewhere. When I flashed the left side, the nice!view display started to function properly: it showed the battery level, the layers, etc. When I flashed the right side, the nice!view remained blank. I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to display something already, so I went ahead and paired the two halves to one another and to my computer. The left side functions well. The right side functions poorly: the top and bottom row keys don't work (middle row works fine), and the screen still didn't turn on. I then tried resetting both sides and starting from scratch. The reset button on the right side seems to work. But on the left side, it seems to do nothing. I've pressed it several times (including double presses) and the screen remains on, the board remains connected to my laptop, and it continues to work fine. I've pressed the reset button both while the board was wired to the laptop and while it wasn't, and both while it was on and off. In no case am I able to get the board to show up as an external device for me to flash....

How to add more layouts to modify in ZMK? **Studio

Preferably without overriding the existing layout

Bluetooth Connection

Hey everyone, Even though I have my Corne v3 for a while now my nice!view just got here yesterday. I installed it, flashed with the firmware but now I am having trouble pairing it. I did not make any changes from the defalt configs on the typeractive website. How do I go about connecting it to Windows and Mac? How do I put it on discovery mode? On Windows, my bluetooth connections available do not display the corne (haven't tried on mac yet)...

PCB won't fit inside the case

Hi, all. I have an issue with the installation of the PCB into the casing. Now, I might have missed something, but it appears to me that the little metal standoffs that get screwed into the casing are a little too high. When I screw the standoffs and try to mount the PCB, it doesn't fit well.
I've followed the tutorial and have first connected the PCB with the 3D printed net where the switches get inserted into (I don't know how I should refer to this part) and have created a single piece with the PCB, the net and the switches. But when I try to insert that into the casing, the standoffs go through the PCB, not through the net (as they should) but then the ports on the PCB do not align with the holes on the casing and the PCB stands crooked because the switch is not aligned and is pulling it to the side. Below I've attached pictures of how the PCB is aligned in the casing. How the usb connector aligns, and the dimensions od the standoffs....

Aluminium case bottom panel model

Hi, I would like to request model of bottom panel for aluminium case, as I am willing to create mode for bigger battery integrated into it. https://typeractive.xyz/products/corne-wireless-premium-aluminum-case?srsltid=AfmBOopZ_ORXA1GhbNDyjHRmRCiqQ0Xmmn64mHaP3y6cpIFvXvGQuw1x...

5col Corne Firmware/Connectivity issues

Just finished building a 5col corne with the no solder header. I plugged in the left side, and dragged the firmware on (first I accidentally used the 6col, when I turned the keyboard on I got nothing). When I switched to the 5col firmware, only one key is working. Now, unfortunately, when I connect it to my computer, I can't get it to go into bootloader mode. Double tapping the reset key doesn't cause it to show up as a drive on my computer. I also tried with the right side, loaded the 5col default firmware, and the keyboard wouldn't function, but now it's having the same bootloader issue. What am I missing here?...

Batteries won't charge

Batteries on both sides won't charge. The display on the nano indicates that it thinks it's being charged, and the power switch is on, but nothing happens. At first I thought the problem was the knock-off batteries I bought, so I ordered the proper ones from AliExpress that typeractive recommended, and they took a while to ship so I only just got them a week ago. But they both have the same problem! So the problem can't be the batteries, but is board related. Everything looks soldered properly, so I do know what to try next. Someone suggested that the charging circuits might be shorted, but how would that have happened to BOTH boards?...

Cirque trackpad support

I've seen several questions around adding a track pad (such as cirque). With zmk recently officially support mouse emulation https://zmk.dev/docs/keymaps/behaviors/mouse-emulation. Is it possible to use the pins for nice!view and connect to a cirque with i2c? Have anybody done any experiments on this? I'll be perfect to have that add on for a full keyboard and mouse combo....

Left side not working

My left side stopped working maybe a month ago. I recently bought a new PCB for it as I couldn't get it working. I'm still having this issue of the left side not working. Not sure where to go from here.

just

Hello, I just bought a corne keyboard, do you know where or how I can get an invoice from typeractive ? I received my order details by email but not an invoice....

Nice!Nano suddenly partially working

Hey all, I have Typeractive's choc keyboard with nice!nanos installed. I did initial setup and flashed in my firmware and everything was fine. I recently got the aluminum case and moved them from the 3d printed case into the aluminum one. After a few weeks of use the keyboard randomly disconnected then reconnected, I was using USB when this happened. The keyboard reconnected but something had gone weird. Some keys stopped working entirely and some keys started to send multiple keystrokes, for example, pressing the key b would input qwf. There was even some weird command the keyboard sent the OS that changed how most inputs were functioning, even for other keyboards in the system. I tried re-flashing, and a fully new build but all the problems persisted through the reflash. I assumed something with the microcontroller or shield had shorted or something. So I ordered another board and microcontrollers. I assembled the build back in the aluminum case and within a few weeks that board repeated the behavior of the previous one. Am I missing something? Any thoughts as to how to fremedly this?...

Reset switch broke on corne PCB - is this the right part to replace?

While reassembling my corne, the reset switch on my PCB broke off. It's more a convenience / completion thing (shorting the pins is easy enough and I don't replace firmware much). Is this part of Typeractive the correct part? https://typeractive.xyz/products/reset-button For replacement, it looks like a surface mount component. So I'm guessing it's just a desolder and re-solder?...
