Why can't I activate the extension from my Twitch Dashboard?

This is a bug with Twitch and certain web browsers and devices. Until Twitch addresses the issue, please try activating the Overlay Expert Twitch Extension using the following browsers/devices:
  • Chrome Desktop
  • Chrome Android
  • PS/Xbox Browser
  • Opera iOS
If you are using a mobile browser, try enabling Desktop mode.

If that does not work, try disabling all browser extensions, ad blockers, and antivirus software.

If that still does not work:
  1. Open Chrome Desktop
  2. Open Chrome menu > More Tools > Developer Tools
  3. In DevTools, open the Console tab
  4. Try activating the Twitch Extension
  5. Take a screenshot of the DevTools window and post it in #community-chat.
