Do I have to keep deploy-commands running?

I notice that the script does not automatically quit itself, does this mean it needs to be kept running? If so, is there a "smarter" way to run it without needing to have two Terminal windows open?

I mean it works fine and the code is one to one with the djs guide but good to know it does not need to be kept running
