Epic Launcher - Assassins Creed Valhalla (Ubisoft game) Not Opening on SD
Does anyone able to play ACV on SD? I'm using Heroic Launcher and tried different Proton version but every time I click 'Play Now' it will just say 'Playing' then it will go back to 'Play Now' status w/out opening the game.

Ubisoft games require Ubisoft Connect to be installed in the prefix. Download it from https://ubi.li/4vxt9, run it with "Run EXE on prefix" in the game settings
You might also have to run these commands in a terminal:

Are you on macOS/Linux? It should be in the game settings then
If you're on Windows, you can just run the installer by double-clicking it

Current version of Heroic should install ubisoft connect for you, no need to do that part manually anymore
I do remember some issue with some AC games that get stuck
loading when the game is not in the same drive than the ubisoft launcher (from the point of view of wine), so I think for one of those games I had to actually install ubisoft as an app inside heroic an then install AC from Ubisoft
(I can't find the reddit place I saw that back then since most reddit is private now for the protest though)
you can use option 1 from https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/wiki/How-to-install-Ubisoft-Connect-on-Linux-and-Mac to do that on linux (I think the process works but ubisoft connect does not work on Mac)
