VAL 5 & VAN 1067

i can open valorant fine and i manage to reach the screen to queue. if i queue manually i'll be met with the VAL 5 error and if i wait a few seconds before queueing then VAN 1067 will appear.

has anyone else experienced these errors before? what did you do to fix it?
