And again...Rocket League...crashes...
I've installed the new NVIDIA drivers' update of Fedora 37. Rocket League crashes again! Yippy, I'm so happy that it's literally crashing every time I want to play it <3. I'm honestly totally fed up. I'm going to read all replies tomorrow. Good night (wasted 2 hours which I could have been in bed already, thanks PsyOnix or whoever, you're great devs (sarcasm)! Years ago, games worked after any kind of update <3?). Byeeeeee!

From that log, it looks like you don't have any Vulkan support at all (it's using the Software implementation, llvmpipe)
Might want to follow https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/InstallingDrivers.md#fedora-incomplete-guide
It would also be interesting to know what
vkcube
selects as your GPU (I'm guessing llvmpipe there as well)continuing-cyanOP•3y ago
Hey! Okay, I will try my best to find out all these things.
Soooo....I checked out the github-link. First of all is, that the link to the NVIDIA driver is outdated (it should be the latest link:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/196723/en-us/
). I've found out, that my graphics card is still supported (GTX 970). //noted
Afterwards I've tried this command to get the support for the Vulkan API: sudo dnf install vulkan-loader vulkan-loader.i686
AND it's already installed (I didn't guess something else tbh...). //done
The section "NVIDIA:" of this github-page is already done...since a long time (otherwise I couldn't have played Rocket League before...). //done
I've found out that it's GPU0 (logical...I only have one graphics card...). //done -> see screenshot
=> I believe I read something like GPU1 in the logs...somewhere...but that's false...shouldn't it be GPU0...because I only have ONE graphics card...? Means...a non-existing GPU is selected...and that's why it's not working...?
Now I've got some new updates after all the updates...which I've already had...whew. Maybe that's the problem, I'm not sure so far. //try it
"Finally, to ensure a successful reboot, set “WaylandEnable=false” in /etc/gdm/custom.conf, and make sure to avoid using secure boot." //try it?continuing-cyanOP•3y ago
