C++ redist required?
Redout Enhanced edition will not run with out Microsoft Visial C++ runtime. I found a work around online which says for heroic:

This game runs good by using Wine Staging, it just needs a few extra steps:
Install VcRedist 2015-2018 (using winetricks or downloading from Microsoft Website) on the Wine Prefix.
Go to the game settings, activate DXVK and VKD3D
If the game complains about DX12 not being supported, go to the game Settings > Other and add -dx11 to the Game Arguments.
The game should open just fine now.

So, I go to settings, leave the wine version on the default (6.0.3)
click winetricks
select the default winepreix
install a windows .dll or component
click the box next to "vcrun20196 Visual C++ 2015-2019 libraries"
and hit "OK"
---- it dumps me out and I check the log, which says it wants wine32
so I sudo apt-get install wine32
-------------seems pc doesn't like this

distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

(a few more, deleted to meet post reqs.)
