Death Stranding, failing to launch
I can't report on really anything because it doesn't even open, just says playing for about 5 seconds then stops. Log is attached, lmk what else I can do to give more info.

you are setting
Wine-GE-Proton in Heroic's settings but GE-Proton7-43 in legendary's config.ini, don't mix wines
I'd suggest to cleanup legendary's config.ini , delete this folder /home/domglusk/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Death Stranding, then run the game again using Wine-GE-Proton with Heroic and share a new lograre-sapphireOP•3y ago
I've tried both actually, reinstalling the game twice and clearing the wine prefix

There’s also a conflict in that legendary is looking into

make sure you have a clean non-conflicting configuration too, like don'e set proton in legendary and wine-ge in heroic

Ok i cleared the wine prefix and everything, reinstalled it with proton experimental and its not launching

tried running epic games through bottles which worked fine when using vulkan as the display and caffe as the runner but death stranding crashes, heres the backtrace

Anyone know why the ‘map crash’ issue happens when playing via heroic but not when you install it via heroic and add the exe to steam as a non steam game?
