Games not launching after uninstalling EGS launcher

Hello kind users, just want to ask, does Epic games launcher need to be installed in pc to make heroic games launcher work? At first all games were launching just fine but after I uninstall Epic games launcher it doesnt work anymore. I reinstalled EGS launcher again and it is now working. Im using windows version btw.
Also, does the option "Minimize Heroic after Game launch" is working? After launching games, it will minimized at first then will appear again right before the game will launch.

EGS is not needed to run Heroic, but... did you install the game using EGS and imported that in Heroic? because I think EGS messes up installations when uninstalled, have you tried to just use Heroic and download the game using heroic?

the minimize option probably doesn't work properly in windows since we can't detect properly that the game started

Thank you for the reply! @arieljuod actually first i synced all the games from EGS to Heroic. then uninstall epic games launcher, but after uninstalling EGS i noticed all my games have been uninstalled too. so i downloaded all my games via Heroic, but right after pressing play button, the games were not launching.

ill try to uninstall EGS once again, then fresh install heroic then download all my egs games via heroic to see if it will work.

for minimize option, i see. hoping it will be fix for sometime.
