Does sapphire work only with DJS?
Would sapphire be compatible with something like Eris?

yeah I would never use eris but just using it as an example
I would use it with something like https://www.biscuitjs.com because it can run in bun and seems promising
npm i @biscuitland/core
biscuitjs | Discord Bot Framework
Biscuit is primarily inspired by Discord.js and Discordeno but it does not include a cache layer by default, we believe that you should not make software that does things it is not supposed to do.
though its small atm
you can make your own similar framework while also leveraging @sapphire/pieces though
Alright, thanks
Does djs not run on Bun?
iirc the only unsupported thing was the regex lookbehind feature, which is now supported in latest Bun
I mean I have not tried it
but it doesn't say it anywhere
Because we don't care about Bun
oh you're a core maintainter?
damn
It has overall worse performance compared to V8
But people only care about a few benchmarks rather than how the entire thing performs
at this point i should just learn rust and write a bot in
C# has a good lib too (remora)
though im very between go and rust but either way this thread is solved
You want a C replacement? Use Zig.
You want a C++ replacement? Use Go.
You want a safe, reliable and expressive language that has superpowers? You use Rust.
wait I can't meme in here fav will smite me
(even though that wasn't a meme)
