Manual 'Add to Steam' Command?

Add games to Steam automatically option in the Global settings and it works well! I can install something, restart Steam, and the game will be added to my list. However, I cannot find a way to manually do this for games that are already installed. While I could just delete and reinstall so that the automatic script will run, some games are upwards of 50gb in size. Is there a way to manually kick off this process on a per-game basis?Thanks!
