MCU Error after Installing V-Core 3 Printer in Mainsail

Followed the setup wizard close this time, and my Octopus Pro was flashed, and RatOS found the board as intended. Next I should install V-Core 3 Printer in Mainsail, but after doing so, I get a MCU connection error. Is this due to: (1) missing settings in the printer.cfg file? (2) or the error described in the docs when updating Klipper (and you have to reflash the motherboard)?

sounds like you are on https://rat-os.vercel.app/docs/configuration#initial-configuration step and you need to edit your printer.cfg file

Okay, thank you 😊 I saw your post saying this could be a reason for MCU Error problems. Just found it a bit strange to get this error even other parts of the printer.cfg file needs to be corrected. During my previous manual klipper setup, errors in the printer.cfg file would shows up with a more specific problem.

it does mention this in the documentation. I found it helpful to read through all the documentation a couple of times as there is a ton of great information in it

@blacksmithforlife I will keep that in mind 😉👍 This kind of setup is quite different from my previous experience, using SSH and putting the .cfg file together from bits and bites...
