Borderlands 3 will not run
I've ran into a myriad of issues with getting Borderlands 3 to work on Heroic Games Launcher.
First time, I tried launching it but it would NEVER open, only for three instances of it to spawn up, all of which were buggy and reported they could not save my settings every time I tried to edit them, and would constantly spam messages saying my settings couldn't be saved. And when I quit it, tried to look through the logs to resolve it (to no avail), then I could no longer open the game at all as it would never open - and then would cause Heroic to freeze, forcing me to manually kill its process as it could no longer be closed.
Yes, I have followed the pinned FAQ. I tried reinstalling Heroic. No dice.
I'm attaching the log file as an embed. I'm running Fedora Kinoite if that helps any. For some reason, the log claims my GPU only has 256 MBs of VRAM, which is definitely not the case (I have 4 GBs).

try enabling the FSync option in the settings, it says that you have wineserver running with fsync but this process is not using fsync
another option you can try is to kill any
wineserver
process that is running and then run the gameextended-salmonOP•3y ago
Actually, I had FSync enabled, not disabled
Seems like I got to fix it by disabling FSync and switching to Proton-GE and the game runs normally now (I wasn't sure if it was safe to run Proton outside of Steam, so I went with Wine-GE)
so this can be flagged as solved

weird, according to your log you had esync enabled and fsync disabled:
you can use proton outside steam, it is not the recommended way but in some cases it can work better (I've seen some games that work out of the box with proton and not with wine-ge)

Well, seems like Borderlands 3 can be added to that list 😅
ANd huh, that's weird, I definitely had Fsync enabled

i get this fsync error if steam is open
exit steam and see if fsync error goes away
additionally, saves in bl3 only worked for me if i used proton
.. unsure if newer wine-ge fixes that, but for some reason the game had trouble writing save files in wine-ge
