Heroic Games Launcher “Offline”
Hello, I just got my steam deck a couple weeks ago, and I recently found out about Heroic. I have downloaded it via Discover, and been able to open the app, however, at the top of the screen it says “Offline” and it continues to retry to connect.
I am currently unable to show my logs, due to the fact that Discord won’t open on my Steam Deck either 😒. It’s not an internet issue, as I am connected to the internet, and have removed and redownloaded Heroic multiple times trying to fix this issue.
I have also tried to redownload it via the Konsole as posted in the FAQ.
Here are some of the errors in my logs, until I figure out my discord on steam deck.
WARNING: [Backend]: Failed to register protocol with OS.
Next error is a Warning stating App offline, skipping possible DXVK update.
If anyone has any solutions they would be appreciated.
Thanks! I’ll update with the entirety of the logs once discord redownloads.

I have attempted setting my DNS to 1.1.1.1. Resetting my steam deck now.
That seems to have worked! Will update if anything else seems amis. Trying to login into epic and GOG now.
