Here we go again, trying to make this work Re-attached the board and Cat6 wiring, but still get this error Suggestions?

that looks like it is in the wrong spot? there should be a space between those headers and the jst-xh connector but it looks like it is butted up close to the jst-xh connector. You should use a 10 pin connector instead of the 12 pin connector you have that doesn't look like you are using a ethernet cable and have tied all the grounds together?

i have some tape around it, since it's 2x5 slots dupont connector ah, that i have not done yes

check again, counting the squares where you would put in a crimped connection I count 12 not 10 having all the ground tied together and twisted around the data lines is what gives ethernet cables the ability to carry data so long without issues. If you aren't doing that, you need to

hmm so you mean connect them together on the ADXL end? and then also on the controlleR?

Orange with White wire and green with white wire and blue with white wire, and brown with white wire are all connected together. I soldered them all together and then soldered a single 22 gauge wire to it to make it easier to attach to the ADXL. I did the same thing on the other end for the MCU the remaining wires are attached as: Orange wire to CS; Green wire to SDA; Blue wire to SDO; Brown wire to CLK

i will re-do like that and try again, cheers 👍 wiring it now, with CLK do you mean SCL? but also what about "VCC"? in the other post you mention orange/white to 5v, since i've already wired the ethernet into a group would using a single silicone cable for that be ok?

Basically use the remaining 4 wires for the data pins and power. Which one you use for which doesn't really matter

i see the problem, i used all the white wires for GND, only had 4 pins for data remaining think i've got a working wiring setup now, but it'll have to wait for tomorrow to check, thanks for the help actually, you say last 4 for data and power, however you need 5 right? or am i using one i don't need? got scl, SDA,SDO, CS and then VCC and GND

so that orange/white one for you? gotcha i think i have to get a new CAT6 cable, been cutting ends of and re-doing this one so often it's a little bit too short me thinks LUL
