Cyberpunk GOG install stuck on 32%
I'm trying to install Cyberpunk 2077 from the GOG store using heroic launcher but it has been stuck on 32.7% for the past 30 minutes. This is my second attempt at installing it. I'm trying to install it to my SD card, which seems to be working, but there has been no visible progress.
du -s /path/to/download seems to stay the same, and CPU usage is minimal.
Is this a known issue?11 Replies

It's a known bug with GOG downloads in general. It's being worked on.

If you close and re-open Heroic it should resume from where it left off.

@james can you try this thing?
- using that same build of Heroic
- download the binary from this PR of gogdl https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/heroic-gogdl/pull/24
- unzip the file
- right click > properties > enable execution permissions
- in heroic, set that file as the alternative gogdl binary in the Advanced settings
- try downloading a game

do you have a github account? if so, you should be able to download the binary clicking in
gogdl-Linux at the bottom of this page https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/heroic-gogdl/actions/runs/4180446078
then unzip it, you should have a gogdl file
then right click > properties > allow executable permissions
then in the advanced settings in heroic, click the folder icon in the gogdl binary and look for that file you downloadedGitHub
