Prusia Slicer 2.6 tree supports digging into model

I'm using Prusia Slicer 2.6 Alpha 4, and for some reason the tree supports are digging into the model and causing branding marks on the model like it deleted part of the model to make room for the supports. Is there a way to make it stop doing that?

That looks like bad cooling to me, heh. Do you have a picture from before you removed the supports?

You may have a point, as it goes above the supports in the supported areas.

try rotating the model and see if you get different results? or, what filament is it? the rest of the print looks pretty decent.

It's overture pla. I'm running a benchy at +20% cooling to see if it has hull warp.

Literally perfect benchy, so I guess I'll try the original print again and see if it makes the same errors.
