long gaps before z seam

Hi, any idea what could be causing the gaps before external perimeter end points? It's strange that some of the seam points in the same area look ok to me. Maybe underextrusion, too high PA? Running esun pla+ at 214 Settings in Prusa nozzle 0.4, width 0.6, speed 140, fan (4028) 40%, external first. extrusion multi 100%, PA 0.03, retract 0.3mm, retract speed 35, de speed 35, extra length on restart -0.1 Any thoughts would be great

looks like i was running the g code viewer in reverse 😞 the gap is at the start of the perimeter, not the end, sorry about that. So possibly I should increase deretract speed, or put some positive extra length on restart?

Have the same as on your second picture here ... Did u find a solution for that?

Not really - I think it's related to being near max flow rate. It looks like underextrusion right near the start - so probably some of the filament gets cooled while near the end of the nozzle during the travel move, and is extruded while not totally melted. So maybe I should increase temp to 230 at least, and minimize travel moves between perimeter seams. That's my guess, will try this in a few days.

0.6 line width on 0.4 nozzle? If so, why?

I need big wall thickness for strength, this cuts print time by 50% a decent amount since I can do fewer perimeters. Didn't notice any difference in quality. I believe the extra squish should also help with layer adhesion.
