Cyberpunk 2077 randomly crashing

Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.61_DLSS3 freezes randomly. Sometimes at the first video screen, sometimes on a loading screen, sometimes ingame. This problem started occurring maybe 2 or 3 days ago. Before that I didn't have any issues running Cyberpunk (GOG version) through Heroic. Please let me know if I should provide any more info.

Update: Today I managed to play the game with no freezing but opening the map really breaks the framerate. I mean after I close the map, the game runs very poorly I believe the freezing/crashing issue has resolved itself after a system update. As for the map, I just lowered my in-game settings and the issue no longer exists

Hey! It's me again and it turns out the problem hasn't resolved itself because I've had it crash a couple of times again in the last few days. Here's my latest log. It's gotten so bad that I can't even start older saves. It crashes on the loading screen. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this?

@Oteron Digging though old posts right now: Is this still an issue? The only other report I can find of this issue is https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/8459, which seems mod-related

Thank you for replying! I didn't uae any mods when I had the issue. However, since writing the post I upgraded my GPU and changed my distro to Fedora and I haven't had any issues. I made a reddit post about the issue where I was told that maybe the culprit is insufficient VRAM (in this case 4gb)

I see. This sounds likely, you were definitely in the lower end of system requirements with an RX 570 (and Wine/VKD3D-Proton might also add additional overhead)
