infill sticking up

What’s wrong with my printer/filament/settings? First layer comes up perfectly, but I have speed limited to 50mm/s for it. Speed is set to 120mm/s on the rest. I know this filament doesn’t support high speeds (Sunlu PETG, terrible choice) but is it really this causing this problem?

infill extrusion % is too low. Not enough flow for the speed. The extruded filament is breaking and curling

usually i have this happen when i am exeeding the max flowrate of my hotend

@ptegler ran the filament flow calibration around my current rate

if you go to your slicer, and change the view type to flow, you can see if the infill is just significantly much higher than the rest, that would be a smoking gun as to why

@nordern I see that, but what am I looking at here?

(and why is this, what should I tune?) per @ptegler ‘s suggestion and the calibration I ran, I’ve set the extrusion multiplier to 1.2

your infill and perimeter walls are at 11.140mm3/s i assume your walls are OK, so the problem is mostly only the infill, and i have a theory with that, which is with Gyroid & Cubic infill, since the previous layer isn't entirely supporting the next one it can detach easier, when i tested and changed to some other infill patterns the problem went away, but also when i changed the "width" of infill to 140% alternatively, you can lower the printing speed of infill aswell

awesome, thanks for helping!

oh wow with 1.2 extrusion multiplier I get a perfect first layer but check what it started doing mid-2nd layer

am I dealing with wet filament here? I opened it two days ago

and it just stopped doing it mid layer

okay extrusion to 1.10 and now it’s smooth, let’s see the infill

okay 2nd layer infill is going back wrong

what i suggest is you leave the EM on 1.0 or whatever works for the layers and walls, then set the "width" on infill only up

I’m rolling back the extrusion modifier, and either selecting another infill patter or changing the width yup, I’ll try that

it should then push more filament through when it's doing infill, with the added bonus that it might to less infill lines to achieve the same amount of "infill %"

I must leave now but I'll tell you later how it goes

infill width 140% has improved a lot, yet I still see some lack of adherence
