@Helge Keck
Current setup
PWM might be fucked lol
How do i change the PWM port?
Or idk what do i need to change
stop
please tell me first what fan do you want to connect
sounds like a 4028
Yep
Positive is the lime green negative the gray with pink stripes and Pwm the yellow green striped one
keep the positive wire in the last fan port, check if the jumper is set to the right voltage
It is
ok, put the negative wire to the heater GND port
It is
In heater 1
put the pwm wire to fan port 4 for example
what board do you have, octopus?
Yep
port 4 is pin number PD13
Port 2 is burned port 3 for mainbaord cooling occupied and port 4 is for the hotend cooling fan
Can in plug it into port 5
?
yes
PD14
Like this ?
[fan]
pin: PD14
cycle_time: 0.00004
enable_pin: PA3
looks good
So the PWM into port 5?
And config like this?
you probably need to invert that pin with
!PD14
yesOk works am i safe to use the other ports without any risk
I removed all the jumpers
what?
from the fan ports?
Is it safe now that i change ports and my printer doesn’t burns down?
i mean i wouldnt use your board in a production environment
So no affect on the other things?
it may work now, but who knows what happens next
Ok looking forward to changing it out
i would order a replacement board if this would be mine
So just one spare if this dies?
well, its already partly dead
Welp if my dumbass paid attention
this is a important lesson you should not forget
