Rapido plus hotend
Has anyone installed a Rapido Plus on their ratrig yet? I had a big ...not sure what to call it, but had to reprint EVO parts and get a new hotend. I upgraded to the all metal Rapido Plus but something isn't right. It's not reading the temp correctly. I've replaced all the wires and no change. So that leaves 2 things, the board is damaged or 2 something special about the Plus that I don't know about. As soon as I turn the printer on and without doing anything it reads it at 159C, which I know isn't correct.
Thanks
Jim

this might have done it. So what does that mean/do? It's reading correctly now. After dinner I'll try to change temp and see if that works, but i'm curious as to what that does.
the Rapido PLus has a better thermistor, the PT1000, you jsut need to tell klipper that oyu have a PT1000
thats the whole difference/trick

oh... cool, thank you!!
you can set the extruder max temp now higher
set it to 330°
with the Plus hotend you can print now with higher temps
