BeamMP on Steam Deck
Hello I have been trying to install BeamMP on steam deck But im stuck on this error when I try to launch BeamMP launcher: [12/4/2023 16:23:15] [INFO] Wine/Proton Detected! If you are on windows delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine in regedit

[12/4/2023 16:23:16] [ERROR] Failed to find the game please launch it. Report this if the issue persists code 4
I have tried most latest guides that I have found on internet but all of them have failed. I have got close as I can but now I need support. It seems that Beam MP launcher cant find game files but i have linked them in common: right click, hover over create new, and click "Link to File or Directory" then paste the location of BeamNG into the "File or directory to link to:" box, and make sure to name the link "BeamNG.drive" or this will not work. but still nothing changes.

Yeah I'm not sure how to fix this
I usually use kissmp instead
Has a native Linux client as well
That interacts with proton
Unless you desperately need beammp I would rather use kissmp instead
