Solved - Trouble homing Z
Experiencing errors while homing z. Error reads TMC 'stepper_z' reports error GSTAT 00000002 drv_err=1(ErrorShutdown!). X and Y home works when the Z cables are removed from steppers. When trying to set X or Y, the bed will retract some before erroring out. This occurs if the touchless probe is triggered or not triggered (red light). Made some config adjustments and didn't get positive results. Set config back to normal settings.

Usually just bad stepper wiring
It's an internal stepper driver error, the cause can be multiple things.
What drivers are you using? Errors are common with fysetc drivers in uncooled mode (because it's using stealthchop_threshold: 1 fysetc drivers don't like that).

, Iām using the TMC 2209 chipset with the typical heat sinks. Octopus v1.1 board.
No, who made your drivers
They're all 2209's

Big Tree Tech? Am I looking at the correct part?
yes š these should not throw errors
Possibly bad driver
You can find out by swapping it for x or y and see if the error moves to stepper_x or stepper_y

Thanks, solved. Went back to Rat Rigs probe wire setup versus board pin out on Git hub. Re-homed twice so moving on through instructions again.
