This is a generator that shows you how your icons look and allow you to more easily customise the appearance wherever the icons may show. It also allows you to upload specific icons for specific purposes. Hadn't come across Astro before, however this is cool to still see icons in different contexts even if you go with Astro (I assume it does all the same things) and it is language agnostic So it can kinda work with Astro, I assume

Sorry I may have not been clear. I for instance don't own a Mac but I can use realfavicongenerator to see what my icon would look like on a Mac toolbar and I can tweak it and upload an SVG. It should then be possible to take what has been learnt there and apply it to Astro, so you know what the Android and Apple icons will look like without needing either and playing with settings you would otherwise be blind to

Oh yeah, I understand that part. I was simply sad. Would have love to see the dynamic favicon being considered 😭

👍🏻 nice tool, used this before. A good starting point to fine tune if need be. However, some if them icons are now obsolete 'cos devices with these systems are virtually extinct, and the project had no update in 10 years.
