Rocket League gives black screen and is not responding

I just installed Heroic Games Launcher and Rocket League as well as the latest wine version (WINE-GE-Proton7-43). I also tried with different Heroic (flatpak, appimage, etc) and wine versions (provided by my distro as well as the internal ones provided by the launcher). The game does not launch without wine.

When starting Rocket League from the launcher, everything I get is a black window / screen. After a while I am askedd to terminate the process because it is not responding. I can certainly say that some stuff is happening in the background at first, because the game reserves a few GB ram.

I appened the log. The last lines say that a file was not found:
