Frog Mini Hotswap PCB Issue
Good Afternoon,
I'm suddenly having issues with my frog mini hotswap PCB.
I've tried the following
1. Reflashed the PCB
2. Check the Hotswap sockets
3. Using a tweezers to test the connection for these switches
However, these 4 switches are still not working. Please help. I bought my frog mini last december, and have only been using for 4 months.

Can you take good pictures of the back of the PCB?

I must say I regret not owning one of those, they look so nice
Well, the most common source of issues in hotswap PCBs regarding non functional keys is the breakage of either soldering pads or circuit traces when the user changes switches around without proper care
It might also be that the PCB is just defective, but seen as it was working before this is also questionable
All in all if you have reflashed and tested with tweezers, this means that the problem is not firmware nor the hotswap sockets
So this is 95% confirmation we are dealing with a hardware issue
We might be able to fix your problem by re-routing that column to one of the free pins
But for that you need to be willing to solder a jumper
In your case, it would seem that the whole column is out, so this indicates that the column trace to the MCU is not working properly or the MCU pin itself
Thank you for the response. I don’t mind soldering, do you mind drawing which connections should I be connecting to try and get the column to work?
