When using dx12, shadow of the tomb raider crashes. Weirdly, it worked when i last played it around 2 weeks ago

I'm able to run the game. I'm using WineGE-latest, and have DXVK disabled (you shouldn't need it anyway if you're using DX12) and VKD3D disabled (it says it improves DX12 compatibility, but in this case the game crashes with it) The only problem I have with this is texture isssues (shimmering? I think it's called that but not sure, see attached), tried several Wine/Proton version (Proton-GE-latest, Proton-GE-Proton7-55, Proton 7.0, Proton 8.0) but no luck I'll attach my full logs in a minute

With VKD3D disabled, DX12 still works. However when running the benchmarch I notice around 20% less average FPS when compared to DX11 with DXVK enabled (27fps vs 32fps). So I suggest we switch to DX11 with DXVK for now, at least until VKD3D is fixed and we can compare performance (Forgot to say, the findings above are on a Steam Deck)

You need dxvk to enable vkd3d This will be enforced in the UI in a future version @gustakasn0v

Also, run this game in dx11. I had a better experience. Dx12 often had artifacts Granted that was like last year, could be better now

really? I never had issues on dx12, other than getting the game to run in dx12 (instead of dx11) ever

Like I said, this was last year. It could have changed
