First time setup problems and facial recognition issues

I have 37482 total files in my folder and used CLI to upload the folder, it uploaded 34872, the difference i would assume is from NEF files now when i go to the server stats, it only shows 31975 photos and 1194 videos the total number of thumbs generated is 33181, and total number of files in thumbs folder is 66362 When i go to photos tab and hover over 'i', it shows 31975 photos and 1194 videos 1. why is there a difference in the server stats vs thumbs? why are all photos not showing? I also ran facial recognition scan and it ran overnight with 2 failed, however don't see any faces in explore tab no errors in machine learning container

If there is issue with generating thumbnail, you can find the error message in the microservice container Try to run the thumbnail generation for missing on Faces not showing might related to the model download/caching issue. Can you removw the volume model_cache, and update your server to the latest version 1.56.2 and try again

its not issue with thumbnail generations as i see 66k odd files in that folder , 1 jpg and 1 webp for each photo

hmm ok, why would missing not run it again? and not return error
Alex Tran
Alex Tran2y ago
What is the missing one?
RonnieP
RonniePOP2y ago
clicking on the missing button in the thumb generation it just returns with no error

Then everything should have thumbnail already

no other job is running hmm, there is a mismatch then, in total assets uploaded through cli and total photos + vids showing

Do you know if you have any other file like gif, avi…etc? Try to run the cli again and can you capture the reported number?
RonnieP

Can you run again and see the report number? You don’t have to process, I want to check the scan result number
RonnieP
