Issues with facial recognition

The program has been working great for me the past year or so. Then all of a sudden I noticed the facial recognition was picking up random people and mislabeling them. I don't know if it was an update issue or what but I tried to change some settings and it doesn't seem like it helped. It almost made things worse. (Eg. It tagged my son in a photo where it was a completely different player and the ref, looks nothing like him)
Any way to fix settings or should I just start over from scratch?
