Game not launching

I am new to gaming on Ubuntu, I installed Heroic to play Civ 6 on epic games.

I changed the directories for the installation to a drive that is not permanently mounted (only for a session).

I also installed the latest version of wine which got installed on my main drive for some reason.

When I launch Civ 6, I get an error saying

An error has occurred! Try to Logout and Login on your Epic account.

I think it says that the files are not found but they exist
