V minion X axis wonky graph
Getting graphs like this. Any ideas how to improve them, since that's far from ideal?

Ill answer here about graphs
the new graph looks much better of course
second peak you can ignore
its not acceleration related vibrations, it just bleeds in
still wondering, what this peak in y is though
that shouldnt really be there

yeah that confused me too
I thought my mount was pretty solid...
its ok that it shakes in y a little bit when it fully resonantes
but we can see at the graph above with the belt a bit loose, that it is a peak by its own
your peak in general is very wide in the latest graph
too wide, imho
(hence why tuning the dampening ration helped you)
but shaping this wide will also increase smoothing

well, i didn't do it yet. Was just trying to figure out how to
So you think it's still really a hardware issue?
yep, those belts are way too tight now
and there is a good chance, they are already strechted out at this point

Oh yikes, I tightened them thinking maybe that was the issue before I found the loose screws
So...
1. loosen the up and see if that helps.
2. If it doesn't it's probably time to buy some new belt
?
pretty much 🙂

Ok - when I get back to school next week I'll loosen them and we'll see how that goes
Thank you for your help!

this good, or still problematic?
This should be fine

I'll try it now and let you know if it behaves. Thanks!
