Cannot obtain IP address over Ethernet
I cannot obtain a normal IP address when connecting over Ethernet. It always gets the address 169.254.250.216, which I cannot access. As far as I understood, this means that there is an issue with the DHCP server, but I haven't found a solution.
Thanks for any help

it is getting an IP address, just not a local area one. Sounds like your network topology isn't what you expect it to be. I would either talk to your local sys admin (if this network isn't controlled by you) or else you need to look at your configuration in your router
