Extruder wiring issues

So in the middle of a print I randomly started to get extruder skipping near a corner of my part. I deduced that this was because the extruder wiring at that part of the printer was either wiggling or loose. Prints work flawlessly when I hold the extruder wire connecter firmly into place in the extruder, and I was wondering how I can fix this issue.

got a picture? I suspect it is a connector not meant to be moving around

i used a little hot glue to try and keep it down but i ran out one squeeze in so thats why the glue job looks kind of janky

I prefer jst-sm for connections on the toolhead, but that doesn't look possible here. I guess you could try and get a different connector that fits more snugly or more glue

im gonna try and take the extruder off the printer, i wanna see if I can find the root of this issue. found the issue taking the extruder off and running it with no filament reveals that when the wires are bent at a certain angle, something isnt connecting right and i get skips. so im gonna try rerouting the wire to fix the angle faulty connection is my best bet im gonna rehouse the wires yep i was right the provided cables were stressed too much and just kinda stopped working ive created a temporary loom in the meantime until i can get my hands on a professional one
