Yakuza 0 Saving issues.

Yakuza 0 with heroic from GOG will NOT save the game. I have tripple checked all paths for prefixes etc, and even managed to grab my cloud saves to the default folder and load it. But when i try to save the game, it will not save. I am using a wine prefix also.

Also to note, i have tried other games, including Soul Reaver, which saved just fine

Oh i know that, i used a phone booth to save it, and it wouldnt actually save

it wouldnt say save completed in the bottom right, and it would not have a continue option when i would go back to the game

change your wine prefix to /home/deck/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Yakuza 0/home/deck/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Yakuza 0

Another thing to note, when i tried setting up and installing it through GOG launcher via steam proton, it saved fine

I usually check here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Yakuza_0#Save_game_data_location but it doesn't mention what's the save path for the GOG version

I do remember there's a weird issue with Borderlands 3 that you can't save files with Wine-GE and you have to use Proton-GE for example, so maybe this is one of those cases where something from wine/proton makes it fail, but I don't know the reason

the pfxpfx folder is there if you use Proton-GE, you are using Wine-GE now

can you try with Proton-GEProton-GE instead of Proton experimental?
