Reused old storage

So, I reinstalled immich cause I fuc*ed up my SSD file system so it was messed up. Now I started using immich using the old SSD when that started working again. The storage is used but obviously the images won't whole up as the users aren't there. Can I just delete the old folders without braking the current setup? Thanks!
