How to switch image on Oracle Cloud vps

So from my thread earlier i got the recommendation to switch to ubuntu but i have no clue how to do that without having to make a new compute instance which could lock me out of the ability to make a server for weeks cause of the shortage of servers

ubuntu and pterodactyl where recommended
