Upon launching game, error pops up: Cannot connect to Epic Online Services
First time trying out Heroic, trying to run Unrailed. Everything goes smoothly, linked my account, game downloads, asks me for approval (see below), and then it doesn't actually boot up, and an error pops up instead.

Not sure if the error displayed means anything, but there are a couple issues in your log you'd have to solve:

"name": "Wine Default - wine-8.0.1",
That's quite old. Install the most recent version of Wine-GE from the Wine Manager (in Heroic), use that to run the game (change the version in the game settings)
- warn: Skipping Vulkan 1.2 adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Not quite sure why DXVK is saying that your GPU only supports VK 1.2, it might be caused by you using an older branch of the Nvidia driver (470, latest is 535)optimistic-gold•2y ago
Could you upgrade to debian 12
It will fix the second issue

Done the first thing, will update to debian 12 in a bit and report back.
Switching to a newer Wine version didn't do much. Same error, although I'll send the log again in case it's changed substantially.

I decided to update to Debian 12 but my internet is very, very slow, so that's taking a while

The "show details" button did not do anything
It just flashed the screen white and died.
