Stores in Paris?
Going to be in Paris for 2 days next week, was hoping to visit some stores (not for any particular category of item) if anyone has any recommendations of places/brands.
Brands I like include Universal Works, orSlow, Engineered Garments, Margaret Howell, and the like. Thanks!

Oh hey. I just posted a writeup on Paris in Reddit.
I guess we can't access that now.
I wonder if a reddit mod could salvage it for me?
If they can't, I have some notes and can recreate. PITA tho
Accessible via Wayback Machine maybe? Or was it too recent to have been indexed
Merci is very cool

How thorough was the post? Maybe an abridged version here?
I've shared the post with OP so they can post it themself. Will put it here later on if they don't beat me to it
OK, that did not work super well, but at least the content is there. Maybe someone with better discord-fu can help.
Maybe we can put it on substack if it's deemed worthy, and just post a link.
A few minor updates since my original post: I have seen some selvedge denim. Nothing exotic, just relatively everyday-looking jeans at regular stores that I happened to notice are selvedge. But I wouldn't say this is a prime location for high-end denim. I live in Chicago, and I haven't seen anything like the shrine to cotton and indigo that is Mildblend.
Overall, men's clothing stores are a lot more common than in the US. In the US, it feels like a bunch of boutiques for women, with a very few men's shops sprinkled in. It's more balanced here.
Also, much more formal wear here, at all price points. The everyday stores I mentioned above (Izac, Jules, etc.) all seem to have suits, dress shirts, etc. in addition to casual clothes.
I've really enjoyed clothes shopping in France. My sister lives in Paris, so in theory I can visit whenever I want for the cost of a plane ticket. It's genuinely tempting to visit more often and do a lot of my clothes shopping here. Feels very plutocratic. š
Much appreciated !
You're welcome!

Specifically love leather of all sorts and was looking for some advice for some great Maisons/artisans etc;
