❔ Remainders and % Modulus

Im not sure if I am just super dumb, but for example, 3%2 = 1, but wouldnt it be 1.5?
Again 10%4=2, and again wouldnt it be 2.5? because there is 2.t left over?

You have 10 cookies to share with 4 friends. Each friend gets 2 cookies, and you have 2 cookies left. the 2 cookies left are the remainder
