CNAME Record Flattening Showing Wrong Site

We have multiple domains (public_html's) on our Server IP. I want to setup a domain alias so that if someone visits example.mx they will see the contents of example.com. I setup a CNAME record for this, however CNAME Flattening just resolves the IP, and then the wrong site is shown..
