iOS app stuck in loading albums screen
Hello all,
As the title says I am running latest immich on iOS 16.5.1 on iPhone 13. App does not load albums. Actions taken:
1. Restarted app
2. Restarted phone
3. Logout and login again
4. Confirmed that app has permission to access all photos
Please help. 2nd day trying to resolve this issue.
PS. On Android everything is working fine.
Edit: ignore Airplane mode in screenshot. The issue is there even in non airplane mode.

Do you use iCloud and all your photos are on iCloud?
Do you have Optimized Storage enable in your phone's setting

Yes I use iCloud. Photos sync with iCloud. Not sure where they are stored though, in iCloud or in Phone or both.
Will have to check Optimised storage option and report back.

I have turned off "Optimised storage" but iCloud sync is still on.
Can you confirm that the photos/videos are on the device or only on iCloud
I turned off the "Optimismed storage" and it started working.
@Alex I started facing this same issue with the Android client in the latest version of the app. I have also tried reinstalling the app but no success. When I start it does not show any selected albums, Then when I click on select albums it just keeps rotating for some time and then shows my camera folder as selected but nothing comes up in the album list. I have left it on this screen for more than 15 mins but that still didn't show the full folder list. But If I go back from this screen it shows me the correct no of assets and then If I click select again it shows the list. But it forgets my selection as soon as I leave hte app and come back again.
I don't think it forget the selection, just the indexing might have taken longer depends on the amount of local assets you have on your phone. We still need to work on the improvement of UI on this page to not confuse the users
