iOS App Select Albums for Backup Not Loading
So I have both an iOS device and Android device I have the Immich app on. For Android, the Select Albums page in Backup did take a long time to load but eventually loaded my local albums to choose from. For iOS however when I go to Select Albums, I am met with a spinning wheel that doesnt seem to load anything or at least I'm not sure how long it takes. Does anyone know where I can go to fix this? It has full access to all my photos.

We might have a potential fix for this in the upcoming release
That would be fantastic, on a side note, I tried uninstalling and re-installing the iOS app to see if it would fix but now the app keeps crashing after staying open for about a minute or two 😂 So I guess I really broke it

New Immich instance I installed yesterday. Let me check the versions.
The ios app says I'm all up to date
Can you make sure your iOS app is on 1.80 as well?

No. For clarity, this is a new install I did yesterday. I have a reverse proxied domain, I installed this with the unraid composer method
There are currently zero pictures or albums on immich
When I click the cloud in the top right to upload images it never shows me an album I can backup
I see, so the issue still persist on some phone
Can you go into the native iOS Photos app, then go into album, and remove all empty album?

When I upload images from the web, they show as broken images
did they show up on the web?
Also, even after getting rid of empty albums, no albums show up
No. Went on my computer, uploaded from browser, can not see them in the browser
Docker logs for the immich-server aren't showing anything either
your server is probably have problem, generating thumbnail is from the microservices container, so you can check that container

It should be. The guide uses a bad directory for it's mount so I changed parts of it and I think that's why it's freaking out

It is a hard to catch bug because it appears on some phones and not others
I'm doing another install of the ios app and I'm going to try and hit the server directly and not through a proxy

yeah this mechanism is locally to the phone
Same issue here with an iPhone. 1.80 did not solve it sadly. Works fine for my Android phone so it shouldn't be a server issue..

Yeah it's annoying that you need a mac to deploy and debug to iPhones, or I would try to help debug it..

Unfortunately no, I tried a few scneario of creating empty albums in the Photos app
but I still can access other albums in Immich
